I wish we had a time machine so we could go back and show the Mayans that the world is still here. Their response would probably be "Of course it is. What, did you guys think that our calendar cycle running out would spell certain doom or something?"

Let's hope that 2013 continues to give us a little more happiness, a little more intelligence, a little more prosperity, and a little less religion.

I also just tried to change my signature to include the entire quote from Andrew Ryan so it wouldn't look like I'm just quote mining, but it's way too long to fit into the 255 character limit. So, I'll just put the whole thing right here. I think it's a great thought to start the new year.
