...and the image amuses me. The image of Werewolf Sarah, a creature of raw, prepostrous sexuality, her enormous body of pure lust and power... and she's walking around on her hind legs, speaking eloquently (though probably with much more verve than in human form), treating it like "just one of those things", and generally acting something resembling normal.
But more than the amusing image, the astounding possibilities of what would accompany her getting a grip are exciting. Sarah would remain aware of her own self in either form, and she has a lot to contend with. At the moment, they're two separate personas, but from what I've seen of the more seasoned werewolves, once they gain post-transformation sentience, their personality remains similar in either form. That may be because they behave like their human selves in wolf form, or because their human persona and wolf persona have kind of absorbed into each other, and now only one personality occupies either body, which may explain the personality changes that werewolves often experience. I'm not sure if once this happens to Sarah, she'll just take it in stride because she knows that's how she is, or her wolf-self will tell her human-self that this really isn't all that fantastic. Either that, or she'll be astounded when her human awareness crosses over to her wolf form, as that would make herself much more aware of just how amazing she is, and may totally alter her self-perception and her views of the world around her. Plus, she'll be able to talk about it.
But this is probably not a sudden process: it happens over months, so it may be more like stepping slowly into cold water rather than diving in; so it's not such a sudden shock. But nonetheless, once you're immersed, it's still quite a rush, and I think it'll be one that will change Sarah's life, much like how her initial transformation did.
I'm not asking questions about this; I know answering any of this would be a dead giveaway of the story. I'm just musing about how interesting it will be, and how much I'm looking forward to it.
