Yeah... you guys know how hard it was not to give up the game with so many good guesses? You guys are learning how to read us. ^_^
And Sarah's line was about Chauvinism in casting folktales. She also got bent out of shape in the Sir Marrok story. That it's always the woman who's the villain. Werewolves bear no particular ill towards the church. In fact, it's probably pretty hard for them to be atheists, given that their mere existence tends to become a pretty fierce bitchslap.
And The "Atheism = Better Lifestyle" argument is one of those things that makes me glad for the book Freakinomics, and their whole "Correlation is not Causation" argument in regards to... everything.
I think the important point is that it's the countries with wider freedom of religion, that happen to also hold the economic ideals of personal responsibility that allow people to do their best, and thus have a higher standard of living.
The countries with the highest standards of living were free economically, free religiously, before they were atheist. It's the notion of freedom and capitalism that put these countries on the road to that success. Before atheism was even an argument that gentlemen would entertain.
