More arguments for the magic side of things.

Down the line- way down the line, I think- science will get its chance, but it won't have the answers.

(And no, magic isn't an answer. "Magic" is nothing more than saying, "Because it does, don't bother me." Saying something happens by magic is like saying that the world was crafted from intelligent design; it may or may not be true, but it says nothing whatever about HOW it's done. Dr. Abe's being a bit intellectually lazy in his argument.)

Was wundering if you is wearing sweatpants in this lastest part of the comic with her cheak up and stuff like that with the werefox?

It may be " lazy" to rely on the theory of "magic" , but the real science would most likely be absolutly be wasted on Peter ( or more likly put him into a state of mental shock , for lack of a better term "fry his brain"... )

That and the "slight lack" of an explanation leaves a lot of mystery and suspense to the story as a whole...

(Think about how boring life would be , if you had all of your answers laid before you at a set time and place...Truly a scary thought ! )

As for wanting everything explained , well as a an ametuer Scientist , I would love to see that ,but as a realist and artist , I know that this most likely will never come to pass...

If one spends too much time on the tiny details , one looses sight of the whole picture (I.e. ; This is comedy , well written , funny , and thought provoking , enjoy it people ! )

And as for Peter's "behavior" (or lack thereof...) well I feel that I probably would get that desperate and bored waiting in the doctor's office as well...

(Actualy , last time I visited a doctor on a routine check-up , I got so bored as to use a tounge depresser as a makeshift throwing knife , and stuck about eight of them in the acoustic tile ceiling of the office while the doctor was running my blood sample... )

Finally, I get to see the page! In panel three, Peter looks like the family dog...at least he's easy to keep entertained. Interesting layout, carries the sense of "presence" quite well, even if you do have to count to keep track of who's talking to whom...
Sarah seems to be coming back to herself, in a dispassionate way...so that's what Sarah's like, sans Wuff. Now it makes sense...
The mass that Peter is re-whatevering is, however, in energy terms rather more than ALL the nuclear (new-clee-urr)* explosions that have occurred on Earth since we figured out how to: the energy conversion is a stone monster! Hence, don't explode a Werewolf!
Bar-1 must be blind from all the background changes; keeping track thereof.
I think the reason why I have to twiddle the computer to get the new page on Saturday is due to my ISP (Which starts with A, then goes to Oh, Hell!) Nice stuff for the science types here..Congrats to both Kris and Bar-1. This also answers the question "What does Rebecca see in Peter?"...it isn't his mind, fer' shurrr.

Would the word "Hammerspace science" be a decent synonym?

Or if a Werewolf's transformation abilities are scientifically based, as opposed to "magic".... werewolves are an extremely efficient energy/fuel source?

Ben, although some of the artwork in that update is yours and therefore -might- be topical to this -board-, none of it went up in the most recent update.
