Wrote Kris, and hard refreshes do nada...although sometimes going to the Archive and clicking on that date works (about 30% of the time)...more of an annoyance than anything else.

AND...What Peter is saying is so true. When Power is up for grabs, anybody that is different and minority is going to be targeted. Note: while it makes good story, if that sword wasn't silver (or silver plated), one suspects the skeweree would eventually creep away to safety.
At least now in the story, there are some trusted humans, which seems to indicate there is hope for our sorry excuse for an intelligent species...in the story, anyway. In the Real World...I'm not so sure.
That's why I read fantasy.....
Good artwork, the style is different from Bar-1...yet recognisable; and that is no easy feat. Even the feel is different: this is Peter talking to Sarah...not the Big Story. It's just what someone would be saying to try to telescope two-thousand-plus years of history into a small digestable bit, to help Sarah try to understand "Her" new "People". He's got a job in front of him, though...I wonder: Are we going to be allowed to see or read any of the "Lore" of the Were's...or is this part of it?
Once again I'm waiting with Baited breath (had Sushi for lunch) for next week!

Uh , Kris?

One of these days I'm going to have to tell you about HALF of the things I have ben through and some of the lessons I've learned...

Here's a VERY abriviated version.

#1 Everyone is capable of murder , namely it just takes one little push over that person's "edge" to send them into a psychopathic rampage.

#2 Evryone is capable of fighting dirtier than the devil , with a flexable morality in place one can be viciously cunning and brutaly violent .

With a "hard set" of morals or , a bushido like sense of honor , one must adhere to strict rules ,without such notions one is free to do whatever they deem whorthwhile or usefull ( I've seen and , have lived through some NASTY moment because of this... )

#3 The sinner you know today could be your savior tomorrow ,as well as the saint you know today could be the most vile of sinners in secret...

This falls into my mentality of anyone is capable of anything at any time...

I say this because even though some of us have set patterns and proccesses to our thought and actions , no individual is 100% predictable...
( Best example : A local preacher with his own telivision show was asked a biblical question that he coud not answer by his cameraman , upon this revelation he proceded to pull a LOADED 357. MAGNUM and brandish it against said camera-person... , I saw that one live at the studio... )

So to bring up the "primal" part of ourselves is only natural...

but remember , "small doses " only please !

Actually I believe I brought up the primal word.

But I was really trying to say that people want to get away with things that are socially unaccepted, i.e. unprovoked attacking or killing something. But since it's not socially or morally accepted they find more creative ways to get around it. Like tearing off liquid latex. Animals really don't have the same social faux pas and taboos we do. Not that some people don't do this but for the majority of the human race a part of our own instinct is to be accepted by others so this quells a lot of our more agressive natures.
