I look forward to all theorys , science based or not on the assumed "physics pesudo-genetic" makeup of PiTW

If anyone has any good ideas feel free to post with no fear of judgement or ridicule here...

I for one , have a completely open mind to any theory ( everybody gets their fair chance here! )

(Intrestingly enough this is the 666th post on the PiTW thread... , not that it has any meaning or anthing...)

Per one of my old Theoretical Physics teachers that I was having coffee with last week (18-jun-06), there are a lot of Theories around not just dark matter, but dark energy as well. Things are really a lot wierder than made it onto the Telly, and I've read some of the theories around the stuff.
Either it cannot interact in any way with Normal matter, or it is utterly wound up within normal matter...there is one school that even says it's what was responsible for many "Miracles" or...Magic (which is an effect, not a force). Granted, Dr.XXXXX is getting up in years, but her math is still brilliant, and does support some impossible-seeming effects.
That is neither here nor there. Dark matter and Energy is presently not sufficiently investigated or developed in theory enough to exclude anything.
I use the Coelocanth as an example. Yes, it is a clade that survived simply because it was in a non-resistive environment. What is important is that it did survive. We really aren't in a position to say what is...or isn't.
Dark Matter/Energy tossed a lot of Cosmologic theory into the dumper....perhaps next week, we'll find a reason to re-evaluate the Universe(s) and decide there isn't as much "Missing" matter as we thought.
Werewolves and Dark Matter? Not even related...other than there is a lot more out there than we realise, and saying definitively that anything is not possible is an exercise in futility. Even Einstein's Relativity is being re-evaluated. Keeping one's mind open is the only logical path, it seems to me.

Umm...is it really so weird that intelligent people would also be interested in *ahem* certain mature content possessing a beachball-like quality? For the record, I usually only read the PG-13 version of Peter is the Wolf, though I do check out the adult version on occasion. To be honest, furry sex doesn't do much for me.

This is the apparent result of someone who is more interested in Orbital dynamics and Cosmology that good healthy porn.
It got started by my comments on Dark Matter/Energy Re: Don't ever rule anything out...you might get bit: HARD! Keep an open mind.
I regularly comment on Cosmology on the appropriate boards: this ISN'T!

Heres an interesting question for you science nuts out there. What do you think the chances are that in that part of peter that can infect people is tightly packed uber werewolf DNA. Example what happened to sarah, he's a runt and his parents are pretty strong. So would you think that his um (trying to think of a clean word for this), his oh heck... the stuff that is used to infect people with lycanthropy would make anyone he infects uber because of this?

I think Kris already answered this question. It depends as much on the thrall as it does the werewolf. A runt could produce a behemoth; a behemoth could produce a runt. As for why Sarah turned out big, well, that's more a product of the laws of universal humor and irony

From a strictly biological standpoint, it could go either way. An organism's capacity for size and power is heritable, but how big it actually gets is strongly influenced by how much nutrition and exercise it receives as it develops, i.e., nature and nurture in concert. Since nurture doesn’t really apply to thralls, it’s almost entirely dependent on genes and gene interaction between the werewolf and human genome. Extreme cases such as Peter and Sarah are probably due to some pesky recessive allele getting all homozygous on us.

Ok I might be an ex member of MENSA , ( I could'nt stand them , they always have their collective heads so buried in a book at the time, that they dont take any time to enjoy life... )
but let it be known if you don't take the time to enjoy the occasional PrOn,then you deny what makes you truly HUMAN ( I for one enjoy my humanity too much to ever become so jaded and high-strung! )

A , good funny PrOn strip ( no pun intended...) lets me relax and laugh instead of being "brooding and self-centered" , it also lightens the mood of conversation imensely...

Ben , Kris dont ever feel like you are anything short of genius material , your work decidedly proves otherwise , besides i would rather hang with you guys than deal with most "so-called" geniuses any day !
