I've been reading the comic for four years now, and it doesn't seem to me that Sarah has made any progress on controlling her wolf form. We've seen her talk about how she's not as susceptible to changing, but that doesn't seem to matter when there's a rival out there who keeps finding ways to force her into changing in undesirable situations. Meanwhile, the only thing that comes remotely close to "progress" is her barely being able to snarl out an English word or two.

Has she gotten any better at being a werewolf in ways we're just not seeing, or have we gone seven years and almost 300 pages and still have the same big dumb feral mountain of fur and boobs? Is she ever going to improve her ability to tamp down her lupine instincts?

It probably feels longer because, while it's been many years real time, only 4-5 months have passed in the PitW universe. It's been stated outright that it takes 6-12 months for a thrall to get complete control over his or her transformation and instincts. Sarah is a powerful, willful specimen under a lot of stress with a less than optimal teacher; she's going to be on the far right side of that particular bell curve.

Still, you'd think she'd be at least semi-coherent at this point - like a rambunctious 6-year old rather than a toddler. Maybe she IS more in control than she even realizes, but now behaves as passively as possible whenever she transforms to minimize the risk of anything going wrong.

My one question is...can she replace the jacket? (And what was it of?)
