Hmm a little bit of East LA in that Yote perhaps. Some may think that they are down south types, but they are Cali Latino through and through.

No, he's from midway between Phoenix and Tuscon.
As such, his true accent is pure shitkicker.

Please tell me that there are were-cougars in this universe. The jokes alone would be awesome.

With regards to the inset picture of the bear trap and the associated caption... I'm not getting the joke. I'm sure it's something obvious, but it's just not making the connections in my mind.
Thanks, as always, to the artist and the publisher for PitW, I've been following from the very beginning, and plan to continue until the end.

It doesn't have anything to do with the strip itself, it was just a funny thought I had. If there's all these different species of were, why not cougar?
The actual joke about cougars is that it's a slang term referring to older women who date much younger men.

D'oh. Sorry. Once again, me can't figure stuff out.
...
That being the case, I kind of can't figure out the bear trap lipstick joke myself. So you say the hint is in the other sketch of the blushing coyote's face?

It's just one of those things... you REALLY have to be an expert on all things WLP.

Been reading a long time and JUST signed up for the forums for this thread.
The bear trap with lipstick is an old gag used in some of the loony tunes cartoons, usually with Bugs dressing up as a woman and going in for the kiss wearing a bear trap with lipstick over his face.
Hello everyone!

And the original Wile E. ran afoul of bear traps quite a few times (usually ones he'd installed himself, as it happens).

But if anyone has a copy of Bootleg issue 12, now might be a good time to break it out.
Kris, do we still have any of those in stock, even?
