One of the few shortcomings of PitW is the slow pace of the story. Owing to demands on both the artist and the writer PitW only updates once every ~1.5 weeks. Granted, sometimes there's a general/adult split in the story, but relatively minor plot arcs can still be drawn out over months (sometimes years), much to the consternation of fans.

What if PitW took the approach did and switch to a biweekly update schedule but intersperse full panel updates with text updates? The text updates could consist of background information on werewolves, plot B scenes, flashbacks, etc., sometimes with a single illustration? It would function much better than pure "filler" material and serve as a means to advance and enrich the story when Ben is erstwhile occupied. One problem is that the front page would probably need to be reformatted.

The front page could use a reformat anyway - barely 25% of the comic is visible without scrolling down thanks to the stonking huge logo (600x200?) and the link bar that could just as easily go on the left column there. Not to mention that the page background isn't pure black, meaning the various tables you have set up for everything appear to stick out rather garishly.

Shrink the logos - both the PitW and WLP ones - and have small, inconspicuous links for page navigation above the comic for easy browsing. That'd be a good first step.
