Here's something I find interesting: everything we've read in the strips/heard from Kris indicates Ashley resents being objectified and is peeved by the fact she can't date whomever she wants. This might lead one to suspect that she hates her body. Yet this latest strip suggest quite the opposite - that she's quite proud of her physique. When Sarah - possibly the only person she's met with bigger...assets - complains about HER body, Ashley goes berserk.

It's also possible Ashley's perpetual bitchiness is a defense mechanism that keeps away would-be suitors and friends and thereby prevents her from being disappointed ala Good Will Hunting.

Maybe someone just needs to tell Ashley it's not her fault.

I hope it is the voice of Hal. If he isn't doing the super-cute teddy bear trick, which got me SO MUCH TAIL in WOD. Then he could be doing the 'I'm bigger than you and talking in a calm authoritative voice' thing.

Afterthought: Those robes are not very big so we might have Hal "Bearing it all for the world to see." He could hardly fit in the thing to start with..

i really doubt it is Hal though, the only thing i think will motivate him to transform is a physical threat to him
