I think a key block to Sarah's control is Sarah herself. She doesn't Want to 'Live With' being a Were, she wants to be Cured.. which historical precedent says is immpossible. Actually hunkering down and working on her control issues outside of absolute suppression (and there's Wolfsbane for that.) implies a level of acceptance of her condition she doesn't seem comfortable with.

As for Sarah-Wuff's howling, she did howl the fiirst time she shifted, way back in the "Spielberg" section. I think the franchise reqiures it...

And being up close in the classroom; were she to shift and howl, I suspect there wouldn't be an intact eardrum left among our merry group of Metamorphs...and we don't know that they all heal as fast as the Werewolf-types. It may be possible that for some, damage is permanent and not subject to "instant healing".

And Jean's "intervention" would be on her own behalf and nobody else's; as per the Wiki.

Did you know people hold howls RL? I found out from a guy at school there are "Spiritual and mental shape shifters" who hold howls RL. Where do they meet? Alt.Horror.Werewolves *lol* I think they could have picked a better forum of communication.
