A question about Real life Lycanthropy

There is a real disease called Lycanthropy. and im confused on the specifics, i know that one of them is a psychological disease, but what was the one called that people grew hair all over thier bodies? its one possibilty of the "werewolf" Mythos, but im fuzzy (no pun intended) on what the medical term is?

If I recall correctly that link refers to one version of a genetic disorder. In an extreme case, it would be possible for one to have a Wookie like appearnce due to the excessive hair growths.

On the other hand, that's the physical side, on the mental, there have been cases of people who believe themselves to be werewolves and so act out in what they precieve to be a feral or beastial manner.
