For discussion of the web comic!

I've read for a lng time and finally made an account just to post a comment. Honestly I shouldn't be shocked by the ractions but come on... Some people have been taking this VERY seriously apparently.

So my thoughts on things? One its a comic. Two its often times an ADULT comic. Naughtyness is going to happen redicilous awsome naughty crap. Its humor based with some serious moments. If it makes you think thats awsome but some of the commenters have sort of put their own moral views on things.

So I'll bring up a few points of reminder. Why Jean might be cruel to Sarah is this. Its been said by the creators that yup, Sarah is a princess whos been spoiled and pampered, this is tough love and some tougher learning. Two remember She's Peter's thrall so if she doesn't get her head on straight its not just her lief forfit but Peter's as well.

Now Jean is Peter's best friend and who knows maybe she does have a bit of a thing for him. We'll see. Thats the comic for you. For all anyone knows Sarah could go for the big ol bear (Oh god watch the fanfictions fly!) Or the rat or go Lez. Who cares?

Another thing these kids are just getting around to their collage fun days. A time of chaos, carefree fun, and plently of drama and mistakes.

I'm suprised I've not seen any "Its all Butch's fault kill her!" Comments. But I suppose she's been cut slack what with being raped by her father for the pack knows how long.

The writer and Artist have plenty of ideas. Rather than plant our views of whats right or wrong accetable or not realize that its like a tv show. We're going to have some episodes (Chapters) that we don't enjoy as much. Later on you get the option of skipping them but for now its endure or change the channel. Its not like they have a shortage of entertaining comics to read.

A little paitence in the comic could see some of the actions and conversations now help the charcters grow and develop, which is what I think the comic is a bit about. Largely about Peter, the story of how the boy became a man.

As for him hanging back while Jean did the talking? Look how well trying to talk has gone for him in the past. Also remember in wolf socity runts are typicaly Omegas. IE Bottom dog on the totem pole. Werewolves seem to be a bit better than this BUT. He's still very much the Omega and treated as a joke in the pack. Its fitting that in a situation like this he's keeping his mouth shut while someone higher up AND already in the midst of explaining things get to say their piece in full.

We'll figure more of this out later on as the comic goes on, but honestly guys (and gals) its a comic, expect some silly antics, some porn worthy actions, and at the end of the day settle in and enjoy the ride.

They've done right by us so far lets see what they've got in store in the future. Anyway thats my piece thanks for reading and cheers mates.
I'm sure you're entitled to your opinion. The problem is I don't care.

Jean has been Peter's only real friend his entire life and is frankly a way better relationship. She obviously likes him and is the only person in the whole comic who's been going out of her way to help Peter and Sarah. It's kind of weird you on one hand accuse her of being selfish and then on the other complain that she's meddling when she's more or less organized her entire life around helping two people she wouldn't have to be involved with at all.

As for Sarah, she's been getting far too mileage out of the "I'm a werewolf, I can't help it excuse". She's not really trying to control herself and thus has gotten no better since the comic began. It's because she's not even trying; she'd much rather act like a bitch the whole time and then just blame it on the universal excuse. But look how she was even before she was a werewolf: she was only with Peter to piss off her dad by dating the class loser and was planning to dump him as soon as he wasn't useful anymore.

The accident is as much her fault as Peter's; she didn't bother with protection either.

And now that she's a wolf, she continually uses the threat of physical force to make Peter sleep with her. Thankfully he hasn't minded up to now, but now that he's been raped, how's he going to feel the next time Wolf Sarah smacks him around until he satisfies her.

Other than that, she's been a complete monster to him. She's not said a SINGLE nice thing to him the whole comic or shown any sort of affection. She constantly berates him, in public even, is making him sleep on the floor in their own house, and makes it constantly clear how little she thinks of him. It's not a healthy relationship and it's not suprising the constant abuse is making Peter even more submissive than he was.

Wat Jean is trying to do is use Neuro-linguistic programming to hint that she needs Peter more then she does she also; she used it on peter to make him go to Sarah and want to have sex. the therapy is so powerful you don't even know that you are doing it. from the "the reunion job"

reply this has nothing to do with the Pandora b system
used on tv
leverage " the reunion job"

ps as for what jean is
she is Chaotic Good or maybe Neutral Good.

Neutral Good

Neutral Good is known as the "Benefactor" alignment. A Neutral Good character is guided by his conscience and typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against Lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A Neutral Good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they do not suffer the same inner conflict that a Lawful Good character would.

Examples of Neutral Good characters include Zorro, and Spider-Man.[7] The Neutral Good outsiders are known as Guardinals.
[edit] Chaotic Good

Chaotic Good is known as the "Beatific," "Rebel," or "Cynic" alignment. A Chaotic Good character favors change for a greater good, disdains bureaucratic organizations that get in the way of social improvement, and places a high value on personal freedom, not only for oneself, but for others as well. They always intend to do the right thing, but their methods are generally disorganized and often out of alignment with the rest of society. They may create conflict in a team if they feel they are being pushed around, and often view extensive organization and planning as pointless, preferring to improvise.

While they do not have evil intentions, they may do bad things (even though they will not enjoy doing these things) to people who are, in their opinion, bad people, if it benefits the greater good. Most elves are Chaotic Good, as are some fey.

Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica, Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly, and Robin Hood are examples of Chaotic Good individuals.[7] Eladrin are the outsider race representing Chaotic Good.

Totaly Neutral good for her, she's shown the habbit to have to much int he trappings of civilization and order. Anyways its intresting the views. I'm fairly sure many will see Jean's a clever girl. And possibly depending ont he out come a highly talented social manipulator. If thats the case then its almost assured that later on something will backfire. Maybe this will. All in all I'm more curious so see what happens at the gathering. Another new experience for Sarah and everyone will be there. I bet a certian someone tries to get Sarah off on her own to try and convince her to join him. Hell lets face it theres a good primer for something truly explosive to happen.

Good reading a head and as I'll show my shallow male side. Fellows? Lycanthrope chicks wearing little to nada?

For now though lets see what happens. We might all be suprised.

I've always found the D&D alignment system rather pointless, mostly because people are generally not loyal to abstract philosophical content. Also, while the lawful-chaotic axis makes sense, the good-evil axis tends to end up being rather arbitrary.

It is possible to define good and evil in universal terms, but doing so requires taking a position that is likely to piss of part of the fanbase who disagrees with that definition. So instead we inevitably end up with one group who is on your side is "Good" and one group who is not on your side is "Evil" even though there doesn't appear to be an appreciable difference in their behavior.

The alignment system is a part of the heroic, vaguely-Tolkienesque fantasy setting D&D is supposed to embody the same way honor and fame is intrinsic to the Legend of Five Rings. D&D lets you play out a character in an universe where good and evil are far more tangible qualities, so the alignment system is needed to define characters. It's not perfect, but I doubt any system of morality is. Furthermore, alignment is best defined as a guide, not a straitjacket - you decide what your character is like and then figure out what alignment best fits him. If you play him well sticking to your 'alignment' never becomes an issue. The broad, generally accepted definitions of good and evil in D&D are:

Evil: Selfishness - screw everyone else over to achieve your goals
Good: Altruism - help everyone else so they'll help you with your goals

In the old AD&D 2nd ed. system there were 'shades' of a alignment as well, such as "Neutral (Good)" which meant neutral with some good tendencies.

It's perfectly possible to have characters of the same alignment with radically different ideals and morals. A lawful good paladin and a lawful good samurai, for example.
