My interpretation on what Happygun said?

A good story has set up, followed by pay-off. We're getting the set-up at a very, very slow pace. These scenes are important because they're establishing setting and such. We're seeing a LOT of guns being put on a LOT of mantelpieces, and bitching about why they are doing this. A reason will come up later, I'm sure of it.



The second thing that causes the delays? The comic is trying to be funny, and humorous, and include these scenes 'cause they make people laugh. If the entire focus was on moving the plot forward, there would not be time for these jokes and stuff, which is what makes the comic readable![/code]

So a friend of mine pointed out to me today that the old fortune cookie thing of "..in bed" works great with forum posts too.

This chapter is winding up, and plot advances- HARD- in the next couple chapters...in bed

A -thrall- in a public school is a time bomb waiting to go off...in bed.

The pack leader should be smacked up side the head for allowing it...in bed.

The efforts of the people posting on these forums are minutes of fun to be had by all!

Speaking of monsters, how did you do Hal's fur? It looks like a noise pattern but you have it curving to meet the arch of his neck. How did you make that?

Isn't amazing how long one can get away just sitting on the sideline and just letting all the personalities sort things out.
