You're all forgetting something here that is a part of human nature, and Were's are as human as any of us in this respect:

Something that is forbidden becomes incredibly attractive in direct proportion to the degree of its being prohibited.

Ashley is prohibited hanging out with humans of her age and having consensual sex with them because of her foxy nature and the danger of her spreading said nature to others.*
So, even if she wasn't interested in shagging some guy she just met; the fact that she can't makes her inability a tragedy (in her eyes). Basically, she is like everyone else in her age group; she wants it because she can't have it.
Hence the anger and and the griefing. Our Were-Vixen is so-o-o human!

There is perhaps one human guy she might decide to risk things with: a guy named Tod. If you know foxes, you'll get the joke.
