clarification - WotC - wizards of the coast. consider them the sony of tabletop gaming. something is a good concept and they buy it, license it, rape, pillage, and otherwise violate a decent concept until there is nothing that resembles the original work.

admittedly they do have some decent things going for them but after what they did to legend of the five rings i have a bad taste in my mouth. AEG had a great concept and wizards kept with it for the most part but with all things that wizards touches, it turned to greed and since it's a ccg(collectible card game) it's all about buy new cards. i'm an old school magic player and was ranked nationally at one point but after taking a few regional tournaments only to have my entire deck banned a week before dci nationals i finally said fuck it.

ad&d was good to a point but try to get a typical gamer these days to understand teh concept of thac0. if they don't reenact a scene from scanners i would be surprised. d20 simplified a lot of it and made it one of the always roll high systems. i think i have a few ideas where d20 would work and make things balanced but it will take some time to flesh out. as i am already developing 2 that parallel each other i don't have a lot of time.

Finnfemfel-the coat-or jacket- I was speaking of is his "Long Fuzzy Collar" jacket...which he only rarely wears in his Wulfen form, and only then by accident. I suspect the Were's strip down as soon as they shift so there won't be a clothing connection. :oops:

Problem is that there can't be more then one of those jackets in Genericville with a young man in it.

The "Goon-Suit-Crew" seems to home in on that jacket/coat every time he wears it. It's almost like he's wearing a neon sign saying "Collectable Juvenile Maladroit Werewolf" with a bright red arrow pointing at him. :roll:

You'd think he'd get a clue...but then he's Peter. :wink:
