Almost didn't have ANYTHING update this week- the gen-aud page is a bit rushed, because Ben was just plain wiped after his recent convention runs.

Of course, that's just more incentive to get y'all to buy Book 2 in 2012! }:-{D

Dear God, what is it about that series that draws the 12-30 year old male demographic like a up-skirt camera in the Dallas cowboys' cheerleaders' locker room?

...Seriously? What is it? Clever writing? Strong characters? Weapons-grade cuteness? The right mix of absurdest, self-effacing humor in an otherwise by-the-books series? Pandering to fetishes deeply buried in the male psyche that develop from watching too many Saturday morning cartoons? Hypnosis?

I personally get a kick of imagining all the horrible, terrible ways the show's setting could be corrupted and/or destroyed. A kick that leaves me feeling guilty and ashamed but nonetheless entertained. Examples:

My Little Pony Tales: Friendship is Magic meets Cthulhu
My Little Pony Tales: Friendship is Magic, 40K
