Truth.. TRUTH? You Can't Handle the TRUTH! (Sorry, couldn't resist) 
What truth is being ignored? The truth that might Does in fact make right? Well, actually more realize this than you may be aware.
Might makes Right, not 'Right' as in 'Moral' or 'Justifiable', Right as in 'this is what you can actually do. People can and will resent you if you abuse this, so much so they may group together so that their collective Might overwhelms your individual Might, but in the end it's still the same principle. Even in our modern domesticated society it's still the ultimate default. If you get stopped by a cop and he asks you to step out of the car and you decide his badge and the presumed authority that flows from it is not compelling enough to obey then he (and the fellow cops he can call upon) will use Might to Force your compliance. This is why it's called Law En-FORCE-ment.
Might is the final tool for enforcing order, and when you apply enough it Always works. You want another truth? We apply so many layers of maintaining order Above the simple use of force because we Like it that way. We LIKE being domesticated. We honor and obey the law and say 'yes officer' when asked to show our license and registration without needing a jack-boot firmly applied to our necks 24/7 to Make us do so because the alternative SUCKS!
Stripping society down to bare bones that will allow you to boot-to-the-head all the pinheads who piss you off would Suck! For every Mighty One who would fight for Truth and Justice and 'all that kind of thing' there's one who'll go around making brain pate' with a sledgehammer purely for sh**s-and-giggles. That's the Truth, and those who deny it and yearn for 'good honest anarchy' are caught in the comfortable delusion that when the fit hits the shan they'll get to be Mel Gibson (or at very least, Humongous) when odds are they're more likely to be some punk biker's butt-toy who gets to catch a bladed boomerang with their face.
