I've never been there, but after my first, and thus far only, NekoCon a few years back, I did some artwork for them (art available on the 2003-2003 clean art CD). I'd pretty much forgotten about this convention until a few days ago, when I looked it up and came across this piece, their new conbook cover.
I love it! Some nice action & perspective there (though some proportions are off) otherwise, a lot of movement and action. Give a real fighting game melee feel to the characters.
