Getting Started Again

Been doing some Shiroi art lately. I've made a few changes to her design. I'm currently working on a short 4-panel comic of her.

Just a small update. I've been messing around in Illustrator again. I'm experimenting with yet a new process. I'm happy with the results so far. The only problem is that I'm stuck, yet again, on her hair. I've always had problems with hair. I'm just trying to figure out how I want to color it and the process I'll need to make it look right.

Just having one my bouts of creative ADD. Working a little too much on the Shiroi stuff and just had to do something different. Just felt like drawing the Milkmaid. Never done it before so I thought I'd give it a shot.

I'm glad you like the sketch Kris. I decided to color it.

BAR, I was referring to coloring her hair. I think I have a handle on drawing it now, but I haven't quite found a way to color hair doing soft shading that I'm happy with. I know what I've done so far is not bad, just not look I want. Doesn't help that I'm not 100% sure on how I want it to look. I just keep experimenting with different styles. One day I'll find it. Though I like the lightning bolt crimp. I'll have to add that next time.

Its been a while since I've posted anything. I had a thought about what Shiroi's reaction would be if she was told to do a Tangled parody.

Well, it's been a while. A lot's been going on. Every now and then I get some time for drawing. I did this at work earlier and just had to share it. I've got some other WLP related art, but don't feel like scanning it now. In due time.

I happen to see an outfit that I thought would look good on Shiroi. So, I went ahead and drew it. I opted to hand ink her once again. I don't intend to switch from digital, but I think doing some analogue inking will help me improve my digital.
