If it helps, I've got a Compaq laptop with a DVD-Rom and built-in S-video out? (I have more than enough video hardware to force that crappy hotel TV to accept an external S-video signal and headphone audio)

Morphy, I can get the coax cable out of its locking cuff; I can't unlock anything else on that TV. Adam's Mark really wants you to spend $150/day renting their A/V equipment. Unless you have something to convert S-cable to coax, I don't think an interface is possible.

Actually, I do. Heh.
Plug S-video and audio into a RF-Modulator, coax-out goes into the port now open (after you take off the cuff) and change the TV to channel 3. Ta da... *^^*

I've been playing with the S-video out and it's not all that good, try to picture the fuzzy reception from rabbit ear antennas. I'm going to try a vga-to-TV scart and see if that looks any better.
If all else fails, I have
Fung Fu Apocalypse, a compilation of 60 Kung Fu fights. It's
four hours long.
I still need to burn what I've gotten so far to DVD for you (hentai anime and doujin/manga). There's more than what will fit on the laptop's 40gb hd.

Well, I also have my DVD playa, with it's RF-to-coax modulator too. ANd that's a start.

It's not converting S-video (or RCA-type video) to RF (ch.3/4), it's the quality of the laptop's output. From all my fiddling, even going direct to the TV's s-video input, it still looks like bad reception. I need to get a scart (VGA to RCA-type video) and see if it provides a better image. I mean, it's ok for movies but subtitles and small text is too blurry to read. Maybe it's a phase lock issue, video format (PAL, NTSC, ect), or the laptop's trying to use the wrong resolution?
On the other hand, I'm getting better with VideoLAN-- and the laptop seems to like it (unlike my pc which occasionally BSODs on it)

Well, with an all-new fersion of the AMV Hells on one disk, I compiled AMV Hell 1-3, Channel Surfin' 1 &2 (extensive edits in this, putting things like.. Chi into Live action TV, and a South Park parody that is a must see), ASCV Hell, and the following "fun with real audio" shorts:
Monty Python's the Black Knight sequence -
Monty Python: How to Not Be Seen-
a Mentos Commercial, and-
Pablo Francisco's standup comedy... involving that "movie trailer voice"
So the them of that disk is all anime stuff to other audio, really.
Then the "party mix" disk will feature a variety of web junk, comedy sketches, Anime Hell-style & stolen stuffs. I'm working on compiling this now...

I've seen this crazy video floating around my little group of friends that make fun of cosplayers. If I can track down the person who is it's current possessor I will attempt to bludgeon that person to death in an attempt retrieve it.
Oh are ya'll going to play Space Balls (I believe that's the name) this year?

Star Ballz is the worst American-produced hentai anime ever made.
And at that, it's nothing like as good as it sounds. It sucks so much I could print 100,000 DVDs, hook a hose and bag to each, and put Hoover, Eureka, Dyson, and every other vacuum cleaner company out of business.
Those "Finding Nemo" animated porn GIFs? This is worse.
Hall of 1000 Goatses? Not a drop in the bucket.
Even huge boobs (and there are plenty of those) can't save that piece of dreck.
... but what the hell, I'll bring it anyway.

Kris is not bluffing when he says Star-balls (uugghh...I cant believe I just typed that name...now I've gottah wash my hands ...

) is quite possably the single worst "hentai" in all of the cosmos , it's utter craptacular nature is offensive by name alone to those who were unfortunate enought to witness the horror . ( In call of cuthulu it would cost 10 d100 sanity points to sit through it...to put it into Lovecraftian terms...

) If I was a creul man , I would strap Sen. lieberman down and force it upon him ( driving him utterly insane and savagly blood-thirsty...

) and release him unto the world uleashing the single most twisted massacre of human lives in one night...

( In other words Kris you owe me no money ...but you owe me some sanity points back!...

In all reality I love watching the worst movies I can get my hands on. I've a really bad habit of yelling out smart assed comments during a bad flick.
mst'ing movies is the best part...

I can understand giving bad "films" the mst3k treatment but this little number is the creme de la crap , worst of the worst a , a good mst'er would have too much material to work with almost to the point where they would trip over their own tounge . Basicly it's sheer craptacular tornado of piss poor movie filth and an exercise in mental self destruction and entropy , you hit so many opritunities so fast so much that the best mst'er will be left dumb-struck and in horrific awe of it all.. Normaly I attend the hentai event and make some members leave due to laughter I even revel in my title from doing so (I am the saint of sinners...

) but even I am humbled by this piece of utter and unstoppable malignant insnity that unfolds before me upon the screen...

just like the Terminator is "an unstopable killing machine" this title is an "ever sucking vacum of total undeniyable brain jarring crap" there is no way to warn the average hentai viewing audiance to it's obscine and blasphemous form . Get awyay while you still can ! ......
Title error ...

Ok if Bar-1 or Kris brought Space-balls we would have some truely classic Mel Brooks comedy to enjoy and try to Mst' ( Nearly impossable since Mel got it almost 98% right to begin with ...

) but Star-balls (ugghhh..there's the sudden urge to wash my hands again...

)is total horror wrapped in pure demonic fecal matter ( kinda like 3-day old sushi , dont even think of touching it ' you will come to regret it later...

) I say this but I'msure that there must be some demons that find it terribly offensive and vulgar as a whole...

I have seen a bit of Agga Ruter, and would very much so like to see the whole series.. barring that, I'll also bring the complete series of something Morgan hooked me up with from off of his computer....
Club to Death Angel Dokuro-Chan.... C'mon... with opening lyrics that translate to:
"I'll step on you, tie you up, beat you up...
Kick You, be a EDITTease, Hang you-
But that's just how I express my love."
You know you wanna watch it.
Yeah... Morgan broke that out while running the Anime Room at <a href="www.penguicon.org">PenguiCon</a>, and we ain't been the same since. At least 6 women were singing along to the "Pipiru piru piru Pipru pi!"
