Rules of Conduct - READ FIRST!

Okay, here are the rules.

(1) REGISTER AND POST. As soon as you register, post something, ANYTHING (on-topic) to the boards. Show me you're not a spambot. I HATE spammers. Any accounts which go three days with no posts will be in danger of being purged for inactivity. If you want posting privs, use 'em or lose 'em. Clear?

UPDATE 11-16-2012: I haven't been enforcing the above rule for a long time, but I must now. Due to a recent spambot attack I have deleted EVERY account without a post. Feel free to re-register, but POST- or LOSE YOUR ACCOUNT.

(2) Anyone with URLs in profile or signature that lead to spam sites or other obvious spambot pages will be banned on sight. No appeal. Likewise anyone using an email address from a domain whose HTML leads to a spam or spambot-cover site. If your personal website consists of nothing except quotations, now would be an EXCELLENT time to add some content; if it contains links to online pharamcies or poker websites, it would be a good idea to remove them BEFORE I see them.

(3) There WILL be raw language, explicit sexual material, and the like on this bulletin board. If you don't like that, NOW IS THE TIME TO LEAVE AND NEVER RETURN. Explicitly adult-only forums are only available to those who register and then contact me and get permission to view adults-only forums, but even on the general-audience forums something might slip. BE WARNED.

(4) If a group is NOT explicitly adults only, DON'T POST PORN TO IT. Watch your language. Be considerate. Posts which cross the line will be deleted; repeat offenders may be banned. Remember that WLP would like to provide fun for the WHOLE family, not just for the part that keeps a Kleenex box next to the bed.

(5) Keep it civil. Personal abuse will only be tolerated to a point; when whatever is being argued has been lost to the flames, all participants are liable to get their electronic heads knocked together by the admin. Repeat offenders may be banned; people who just show up and start spouting abuse will be IMMEDIATELY and PERMANENTLY banned.

(6) Keep on-topic. You won't get banned for going off-topic, but if you make me move a thread, that annoys me... and when I'm annoyed I become much less tolerant of other violations.

And finally, and MOST IMPORTANTLY:

(7) Don't take this crap too seriously. It's just comics. Relax.

Not seeing anything about thread necromancy. Is it tolerated, or is it considered so obvious as not to be worth mentioning?
